What we do
We supply the hardware.
You put it in the ground.
SafeWise imports safety bollards and car park hardware directly from the factory and sells it on to the trade — builders, fit-out crews, bollard installers, property maintenance companies and resellers who need reliable stock at a workable price.
We're a supply-only business. That keeps our overheads low and our prices sharp, and it means we're not competing with the installers who buy from us. You get the product, the drawings and clear installation instructions — your team or your contractor does the install.

Installation
How they go in
We supply only — but here's the short version so you can scope the job and order the right parts. Detailed guidance is supplied with every order.

Removable bollards — new concrete
Set the in-ground sleeve into the wet pour with the collar flush to the finished surface. Allow a gravel layer beneath for drainage. Let the slab cure fully before first use — typically around 48 hours.

Removable bollards — existing concrete
Core drill to suit the sleeve: roughly 220–225mm diameter for the 140mm sleeve, around 130mm for the 90mm. Seat the sleeve, backfill with a non-shrink grout or concrete, and trowel flush. We recommend a professional core driller.

Fixed bollards — surface mount
Mark and drill the base plate holes, then fix with M10 concrete anchors — 100mm to 150mm long depending on slab thickness. Check for services with a wall or slab scanner before drilling.

Rubber wheel stops
Fix to concrete with M10 or M12 anchors through the moulded holes. On asphalt or gravel, use 300mm asphalt spikes or screw anchors instead.
Always locate underground services before core drilling or anchoring. Installation is the
responsibility of the purchaser or their contractor — SafeWise supplies product only.

Who we are
About SafeWise
SafeWise is a Melbourne-based importer and supplier of safety bollards and car park hardware. We started because the trade price for a basic steel bollard in Australia was well above what the product actually costs to make and land — and installers were wearing that margin.
We buy direct from the factory in volume, hold stock locally, and sell it on at a price that still leaves room for an installer or reseller to make money. No showroom, no sales team, no install division competing with our own customers.
We've deliberately run the business lean, and we're currently between shipments. The range on this site is what we stock and what's coming back in. If you want quantity on the next container, now is the time to tell us.
Are you taking orders right now?
Yes — as pre-orders. Current stock is sold out and the next shipment is being arranged. Pre-ordering locks in your quantity and lets us size the order properly. We'll confirm pricing and an expected landing date in writing before anything is committed.
Do you install?
No. SafeWise is supply only. We provide the drawings and installation guidance, and your own team or contractor carries out the work. This keeps our pricing sharp and means we aren't bidding against the installers who buy from us.
What's the minimum order?
There's no hard minimum, but our pricing is built around volume — pallet and multi-pallet quantities get the best rate. Small orders are welcome; just expect the per-unit price to sit closer to the figures listed on this page.
Can you deliver outside Melbourne?
Yes. We arrange freight Australia-wide and quote it per job based on weight and destination postcode. Melbourne pickup can also be arranged.
How long is the lead time?
For in-stock items, dispatch is prompt. For pre-orders on an incoming shipment, factory production typically runs around 15–20 days plus sea freight and customs clearance. We'll give you a realistic date with your quote rather than an optimistic one.
